PALM BEACH, FL – Atlantis University showcased its baseball prowess with a 5-2 victory over Bryant & Stratton Albany on Sunday. A five-run surge in the third inning proved to be the game-changer as the AU Sharks overpowered their opponents at home.
Bryant & Stratton Albany struck first in the third inning when Luis Monte De Oca doubled, bringing in a run. However, Atlantis University quickly responded with a statement-making rally. Eduardo Perez ignited the offensive explosion with a clutch two-run single. At the same time, Marco Medina, Jonathan Vasallo, and Alejandro Socarras drove in a run to give the Sharks a 5-1 lead.
On the mound, Luis Moreno delivered a solid start for Atlantis University, securing the win. Over four innings, he allowed just one run on five hits while striking out four batters. Jesus Ramos took over in relief, closing the game with three strong innings and earning the save. Ramos held Bryant & Stratton Albany to a single unearned run while fanning one batter and keeping the opposition at bay.
