Bio
 

 Coach Walters has over 10 years of college coaching experience. A South Florida native, a West Virginia University standout, and a former professional football player, He enters his first season as Head Football Coach of Atlantis University, located in Miami, FL. 
 
Prior to Atlantis University, Coach Walters spent 4 seasons at ASA Junior College, where he served as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. During his tenure at ASA, Walters led a Defensive Unit that finished the 2021 season ranked in the top 10 in defensive sacks and 16th overall in defensive scoring. Coach Walters mentored a pair of JUCO All-Americans who signed letters of intent to play at Division 1 universities. 
 
In 2022, coach Walters was named Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Kentucky Christian University. 
 
Fall 2022 Season: Walters led the Kenledky Christian University defense, which finished 2nd Overall in Total defense in the AAC and tied for first in defensive turnovers with 29.

Walters defense ranked 5th in the NAIA in scoring defense and 1st in the AAC.

Walters mentored 7 All-Appalachian Athletic Conference selections.

Mentored a 1st Team All-Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Redshirt Freshman Defensive back (Cornelius Cutliff) that led the conference in interceptions with (5).

Mentored a 2nd Team All-Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Freshman Linebacker (Justin Lewis) who finished the season with 55 total tackles, 8.5 TFLs, 2 SaTFL, and an interception in 5 starts. 

Coach Walters is poised to make a great impact here at Atlantis University with his knowledge of the game, passion towards developing student athletes, and vision towards creating a winning culture both on and off the field.
