Bio
Luis Eduardo Zapata, born on April 24, 1980, in Cali, Colombia, is recognized for his exceptional speed, his main attribute on the field. He earned the nickname "Morumbi Zapata" for his memorable goal against São Paulo during the 2007 Copa Sudamericana at Morumbi Stadium. The final score of that match was São Paulo 0, Millonarios de Bogotá 1.

In 2012, the U.S. Soccer Federation invited Zapata to obtain his "A" Coaching License. Since 2013, he has trained as a youth coach in Denver, Colorado. After relocating to Florida, he has worked with teams such as Key Biscayne SC, Weston FC, PSG Miami, and Miami Beach Soccer.
Luis Eduardo Zapata currently serves as the assistant coach at *Atlantis University*, where he continues his career in soccer as a coach and mentor.
